There's much to discover in Magnolia
We are Seattle's second largest neighborhood, surrounded by saltwater and connected to the main city by just three bridges. This bit of insulation brings us closer together and encourages community engagement. Discover Magnolia, powered by your Magnolia Chamber of Commerce, is here help foster this engagement to make this area even more beautiful, to assist our thriving businesses and bring our community together through exciting events and activities.
Discover our Events
Magnolians love to have fun at our year-round events. It's a chance to meet the business owners, catch up with your neighbors, eat good food and drink, and celebrate the season. There's the super-popular Summerfest where we have a magnificent Seafair Parade including the Seafair Pirates, live music, crafts, food and art. We have just recently reintroduced Artwalk to the Village and there's the quarterly Vino in the Village where you can taste wine and meet vineyard owners and representatives. In the winter, we have a tree-lighting ritual at the Magnolia Garden Center and Santa photos at Windermere. After Summerfest, we have a car show and Halloween where thousands of parents and kids come out in costume to comb the businesses for candy. It's fun all year around!
Check out our schedule to see what's coming next and mark you calendar. We'd love to see you at our next event!
Vino in the Village
A few times a year, we bring local winery representatives or owners into the village to serve up samples of their crafts. Bring your own glass or buy one on site, pay an entry fee and get tickets to use as you roam around to the hosting businesses.
As the temperature drops, the lights go up on McGraw and we celebrate the coming of Winter with fire bins, Santa photos, a tree lighting at the Magnolia Garden Center, treats from the local businesses and holiday caroling.
